1.2.5 · Image score import and more reliable practice playback

Published

SheetCue 1.2.5 adds ordered JPEG and PNG score import, preset naming during setup, and reliability improvements for measure playback and metronome timing.

Highlights

  • Import ordered JPEG and PNG score pages, which SheetCue converts into a PDF stored on the device.
  • Review selected images and add, remove, or reorder pages before creating the score.
  • Choose a preset name during post-import setup instead of relying only on an automatically generated title.

Improvements

  • Moved image-to-PDF preparation off the UI thread and locked the selected page order while conversion is running.
  • Synchronized audible metronome scheduling with playback and its visual beat indicator.
  • Improved continuous measure playback geometry and transitions while preserving titles on older presets.

Image conversion and imported score data remain on the device. This entry is based on the v1.2.4..v1.2.5 repository diff and the v1.2.5 release checklist.

  • Redesigned the SheetCue Plus paywall and plan controls with simpler labels and layout.
  • Moved preset playback and preset actions into bottom sheets for a cleaner library experience.
  • Replaced older page tutorial overlays with a more focused onboarding and setup flow.
